In the Tuja district, moose calves got stuck in the river.
In May, during an inspection of the hunting grounds in the Tuzhinsky district, state inspectors saw two moose calves under a steep cliff by the Pizhma River. After crossing, the cow moose climbed up a high slope, while the calves could not ascend due to the steepness and strong current. One calf was exhausted, and the other was unsuccessfully trying to climb. The inspectors began the evacuation of the animals from the water. Everything went successfully: both calves safely went into the forest and joined the cow moose, the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kirov region reported.
