A 40-year-old resident of Slobodskoy was found guilty of attempted murder of an acquaintance. The incident occurred on February 7 in an apartment on Sovetskaya Street. For some time, the two men were drinking, then they had a quarrel. At some point, one of them grabbed a knife and stabbed his friend in the neck several times. The latter survived thanks to the intervention of another person who was in the apartment. He stopped the attacker and called for medical help. The court sentenced the man to six years in a high-security penal colony. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.
