      In the Kirov region, a third of all traffic accidents involving pedestrians occur at pedestrian crossings. Recently, one person has died and 22 have been injured in these accidents. Most of these traffic accidents happen in the evening when pedestrian visibility decreases. In twilight and at night, it becomes more difficult for drivers to notice pedestrians in time, especially in unlit areas of the road.
