According to the Kirov CGMS, from January 10 to 12 cold weather will persist in the region, with light snow and icy roads. Meteorologists warn drivers and pedestrians about possible hazards on the streets.

It will be cold in Kirov over the weekend and at the start of the week: nighttime temperatures will fall to −13…−11°C, while daytime temperatures will remain around −11…−9°C. In parts of the region, frosts down to −22°C are forecast.
Cloudiness will be variable, with clearings, and precipitation will continue in the form of light snow. Winds will be northeasterly, 3–10 m/s.
Road conditions remain dangerous: icy patches will persist on the streets. Local meteorologists recommend that drivers exercise caution and that pedestrians choose footwear with non-slip soles.
