Construction of 61 cellular base stations has been completed in Kirov Oblast. This has enabled an additional 12,700 residents to be connected to mobile services and the Internet. By the end of 2025, more than 98.4% of the oblast's population were already using mobile services and the Internet, the press service of the government of Kirov Oblast reported.
In 2025, 25 stations were opened under the regional project "Development of Communication Infrastructure of Kirov Oblast." Another 16 stations were built under an agreement with the Ministry of Digital Development, funded by the federal budget, and base stations were installed in 20 localities thanks to the region's investment projects.
Construction of base stations will continue in 2026. At least 15 settlements are planned to be connected to high-quality service, including the villages of Bydanovo and Mari-Oshaevo. Service will also be available in settlements with populations ranging from 100 to 1,000 people.
