At the Kirov pre-trial detention center, juvenile inmates were shown "Yolki."
In the run-up to the New Year, classes and creative workshops were organized at SIZO-2 for adolescents to create a festive atmosphere. The teenagers were told about the history and traditions of the New Year, and then shown the film Yolki 1914 (6+). The minors also decorated the classrooms themselves: they cut out snowflakes, made garlands, and crafted paper snowmen and New Year arrangements. A separate project involved making horse figures in the style of Dymkovo toys — this introduced the teenagers to the folk crafts of the Vyatka region. The most touching part of the program was the "Letter to Ded Moroz" campaign: anyone who wished could write down their wishes and plans for the future. UFSIN notes that such events help adolescents maintain a positive attitude and get through the holiday period more easily.
