In Goloditsa, a burning car 'set fire to' a residential house.
According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kirov Region, from 06:00 on December 27 to 06:00 on December 28 the region’s fire and rescue units responded to a number of incidents.
One of them was a fire in the village of Goloditsa in Kirov. There a garage measuring 20 square meters caught fire. As a result of the blaze a passenger car was destroyed, and the wall of an adjacent residential house was damaged over an area of 18 square meters. One person was injured in the incident.
Fifteen personnel and five vehicles of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and the regional fire and rescue service were involved in extinguishing the fire. According to preliminary data, the fire was caused by a vehicle malfunction.
In addition, during the specified period the region recorded one other man-made fire, as well as six road traffic accidents and other emergency situations.
