Participants in the Special Military Operation were buried in the Vyatskopolyansky and Malmyzhsky districts.

      Recently the channel "Glava Sosnovki" published information about the death of a fellow local, Private Evgeny Bolshakov, born in 1977. He died on 14 September 2024. The farewell and funeral service took place at the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.

      The administration of the Malmyzhsky District reported three more deaths. Recently they held a farewell for Private Alexei Ivanov, born in 1981. Ivanov was born in Kalinino, graduated from school and vocational school in Malmyzh, worked rotational shifts in Kazan and Saint Petersburg, signed a contract in March 2024 and went to the special military operation. He was wounded twice. He was killed in July 2025 while carrying out a combat mission on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic.

      Also in the Malmyzhsky District they held farewells for participants in the special military operation Anton Platunov and Sergei Chuchkalov. Platunov was born in 1992 in Mari El, then moved to Kalinino, graduated from school and technical college, then went to Kazan where he worked as a bricklayer. In December 2023 he went to the special military operation, received the rank of Guards Private, and later became deputy platoon commander. He was wounded five times. He was awarded the Order of Courage, the Medal "For Courage" and three medals "For Bravery." He was killed in December 2025.

      Chuchkalov was born in 1964 in Kazakhstan, then moved to Malmyzh. He served in the army and worked for a while. He also volunteered for the special military operation with the rank of private and became commander of a motorized rifle squad. He went missing in January 2025 in the Donetsk People's Republic and was declared dead.
