A citywide ice rink opened in Komintern.
A citywide ice rink recently opened in Komintern at 39 Pavla Korchagina Street. It covers 3,000 square meters. A skate rental is available for visitors.
According to the administration, another citywide rink of 1,500 square meters has opened in Gagarin Park. The contractor cleared the rink after the snowfall; the ice will be resurfaced if necessary. A skate rental point and a food outlet have been set up.
The rink in Kochurovsky Park is also available to Kirov residents. Skates can be rented at the rental point. In addition, a citywide rink is planned to open in the LPK Park in Novovyatsk. Entry to all rinks is free.
It should be noted that a complaint has already appeared in the comments to this post on social media. A local resident wrote about the rink in Komintern: "They opened the rink, but couldn't ice it properly. We skated there yesterday — just holes and terrible bumps; children are afraid of breaking their legs, and the center is completely without ice. There isn't a single bench at the rink; in the old days there was at least one." So far the authorities have not commented on this.
