Industrial production fell in Kirov Oblast.
For January–November 2025 the industrial production index in Kirov Oblast amounted to 98.8% compared with the same period of 2024. Thus, the indicator decreased slightly.
In the mining sector volumes decreased by 20.5%, water supply and waste removal by 3.7%, electricity and gas supply by 1.9%, and manufacturing by 1%. Considering the latter sector separately, there was growth in the production of equipment (by 21.8%), pharmaceuticals (by 11%), metal products (by 4.7%), and chemicals (by 2.2%).
At the same time, production fell for machinery (by 42.2%), textiles (by 25.3%), electrical equipment (by 17.9%), beverages (by 17.5%), leather (by 17.4%), clothing (by 16.4%), mineral products (by 15.7%), metallurgical products (by 14.9%), rubber and plastics (by 14.9%), furniture (by 11.7%), paper (by 10.4%), and food products (by 4%).
The volume of wood processing and the production of wood products (except furniture) decreased by 5.8%. The volume of repair and installation services for machinery and equipment decreased by 2.3%.
