An abandoned pipe in Lema has drawn the attention of the prosecutor's office.

      The Zuevsky District Prosecutor's Office examined a complaint from a resident of the village of Lema who complained about an abandoned metal pipe from a former boiler house. The structure stands on a concrete foundation and is held in place by guy wires, but has not been maintained for a long time.

      Because there is no owner, the structure has been left unclaimed. No one repairs or monitors its condition, which directly affects public safety. The problem was also pointed out by activists of the People's Front, who sent their own complaint to the prosecutor's office.

      Following the inspection, the prosecutor demanded that the settlement administration register the structure on its balance sheet and put the situation in order. The rectification of the violations is currently being monitored by the supervisory authority, the press service of the Kirov Region Prosecutor's Office reported.
