The prosecutor’s office received information about the injury of a 65-year-old resident of Kirov on the morning of November 22 near building No. 4/1 on Lepse Street. The pensioner slipped on the sidewalk in the square of “Lepse” and sustained a pelvic fracture. She was hospitalized and is currently receiving inpatient treatment.

      Police are conducting a preliminary investigation into the injury. The assessment will examine the completeness and adequacy of the measures carried out by local self-government bodies and certain officials of the contractor to ensure the safety of the urban environment, as well as to prevent and eliminate winter slipperiness.

      Following the determination of the causes and circumstances of the injury, the prosecutor’s office will take prosecutorial response measures. It is currently being decided whether to prepare a lawsuit to protect the victim’s rights in civil proceedings.
