As reported today at the session of the Legislative Assembly, by law the term of office of the chair of the Audit Chamber of the Kirov Region is five years. Currently the Audit Chamber is headed by Yuri Laptev. His term expires in December 2025.
Meanwhile, Laptev has again been proposed for appointment as chair of the Audit Chamber. The governor and the deputies supported the initiative. In the near future the Accounts Chamber of Russia will present a conclusion on the candidate's compliance with the qualification requirements.
