Almost half of Kirov residents are expecting a 13th salary at the end of the year.
According to a SuperJob study, men in Kirov are slightly more optimistic than women: 50% of the men surveyed expect to receive an annual bonus, compared with 45% of women. The highest expectation is among young people under 35 (57%). In the 35–45 age group 47% expect it, while among Kirov residents over 45 only 40% do. Education also affects expectations: 53% of respondents with higher education expect bonuses, compared with 40% of those with secondary vocational education. City residents with incomes of 150,000 rubles a month or more are the most likely to expect annual bonuses — 65%. What do Kirov residents plan to spend the "thirteenth salary" on? Most often — on vacations and travel (17%). Almost as many (16%) intend to pay off loans and debts. Another 11% want to spend the bonus on family needs, 10% each — on current expenses or home repairs. 9% plan to save the bonus, 7% — to spend it on gifts. One in twenty (6%) plan to spend the bonus solely on themselves, 3% — to pay for education, 2% — medical services.
