The sentence for Dolgikh will be announced next week.

      At today's hearing in the case of Anton Dolgikh it became known that the verdict for the notorious Kirov lawyer will be announced on Wednesday, November 19.

      Today the court heard closing arguments in the Dolgikh case, after which the defendant was given the last word. Dolgikh began his speech by thanking the prosecutor for calling him a lawyer.

      Recall that the prosecution sought a sentence for Dolgikh of 1 year and 9 months' imprisonment under Part 1 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and a fine of 80,000 rubles under Part 1 of Article 291.2. Dolgikh will remain in pretrial detention until the verdict takes legal effect. One day in the detention center will be credited as two days in a colony-settlement.
