Students of the Vyatka Automotive and Industrial College are getting acquainted with production at the KCHHK branch.
Students from four groups studying under secondary vocational education programs — "Electrician for Repair and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment (RiOE)", "Instrumentation and Automation Fitter-Adjuster (KIPiA)", "Welder", and "Chemical Technology of the Production of Chemical Compounds" — have already completed the "Welcome to Uralchem" training at the enterprise and took part in overview tours of the plant.
First-year students have now begun studying the course "Introduction to the Specialty." In November, the students will have a series of meetings with specialists from the KCHHK branch in four areas. They will visit the workshops where they will carry out their practical training and work after completing their studies at the college.
Meanwhile, in October nine company employees completed training in the program "Pedagogy and Teaching Methods" and finished their teaching practice at VAPK.
This year Uralchem allocated 10 million rubles to support the "Professionalitet" project. Equipment worth the same amount will be transferred to the college for conducting practical classes.
Elena Perminova, Deputy Director for Personnel and Social Policy of the KCHHK branch of JSC OHC "Uralchem" and a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region:
"The KCHHK branch and VAPK have cooperated for many years in the field of personnel training. The 'Professionalitet' project makes it possible to take education to a new level. It is a unique opportunity for students, from their first year, to immerse themselves in their chosen profession, to meet experienced workers and mentors, to learn about Uralchem's social policy, and to get to know the enterprise as a whole."
