A preliminary inquiry has been opened into the death of a fisherman in Yuma.
Earlier the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kirov Region reported that a resident of the village of Katni discovered the body of a 45-year-old fisherman in the Yuma River. The regional Investigative Committee added that, according to preliminary information, the incident occurred on November 10.
A pre-investigation check has been organized by the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region. Investigators inspected the scene. A set of verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident is currently being carried out, and a forensic medical examination has also been ordered. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the check.
