One of the most serious incidents occurred in Kirov on Proizvodstvennaya Street: at about 6:40 a.m. a 61-year-old driver of a Hyundai Elantra drove off the road and crashed into a tree. The man was injured and required medical assistance. The causes of the accident are now being investigated — according to preliminary data, the driver may have lost control.
Earlier in the morning, at about 5:25 a.m., on the Belaya Kholunitsa–Kirs highway in the Belokholunitsky District a Toyota Yaris and a Lada X-Ray collided. After the impact the foreign car was thrown off the road. A 46-year-old driver of the Lada was injured.
During the day on Slobodskoy Trakt in Kirov a Toyota RAV4 and a VAZ-2115 failed to pass one another and collided. As a result of the collision a 69-year-old female passenger of the domestic car was injured.
In addition, in Kirovo-Chepetsk on Mira Avenue a car "Exid" struck a 34-year-old female pedestrian, and in the evening in Kirov on Oktyabrsky Avenue a 42-year-old woman was hit by a Lada Priora.
