A post on the Omutninsky Polytechnic College’s public page reported the death of the serviceman. 20‑year‑old Sergey Karetnikov was killed during the special military operation. It should be noted that Sergey was a 2024 graduate of the aforementioned college. “The staff and students of the college express their deep condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. May the hero’s memory be eternal!” wrote the institution’s staff.
