In Kirov, a management company was ordered to pay 200,000 for injuring a pregnant woman.

      The Prosecutor’s Office of the Pervomaysky District of Kirov secured through the courts compensation for moral damages for a 24-year-old pregnant resident of Kirov who was injured because of a slippery sidewalk. As established by the prosecutor’s office, the incident occurred on December 30, 2024, at building No. 240/2 on Pavla Korchagina Street. The woman slipped on ice and suffered a serious injury — a closed displaced fracture of the ankle. She was hospitalized and received inpatient treatment. An inspection showed that the sidewalk was in an unsatisfactory condition: ice had formed on it, which the management company failed to remove in time. This was the cause of the fall. The prosecutor’s office went to court on behalf of the victim, seeking to recover compensation for moral damages from the organization. The court upheld the supervisory authority’s position and ordered the organization to pay the woman 200,000 rubles. The court decision came into force, and the management company transferred the full amount to the victim.
