Experts predict housing prices will rise by 2027.
A significant increase in housing prices in Russia is expected in 2027. This forecast was voiced by the head of the DOM.RF analytical center, Mikhail Goldberg, at the International Housing Congress in Moscow.
Thus, from January to September 2025 housing prices in the country rose by about 5%, and in Moscow — by 12%. The expert links the forthcoming price surge to a shortage of new supply on the market both in the new-build segment and in completed housing, according to the Unified Developers' Resource website.
Goldberg noted that a reduction of the Central Bank’s key rate to 7–8% in 2027 could lead to mortgage rates being set at 9–10%, which would create conditions for the realization of pent-up demand. However, demand could outpace supply, which would lead to higher prices per square meter.
