The second stage of Operation "Illegal" is underway in the Kirov region. In the first three days police identified 41 violations of migration laws. Twenty-seven foreign nationals who violated the terms of their stay in Russia were held administratively liable. A deportation order has been issued against one of them.
In addition, seven residents of the Kirov region who hosted foreigners but did not register them with the migration authorities were held liable. One foreign national was charged with working without authorization. Another was penalized for failing to apply for a work patent on time. Five employers who illegally used migrant labor were also punished.
Additionally, during the inspection police caught a Kirov resident who had arranged fake registration for citizens of one of the South Asian countries. A criminal case was opened against him under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
