A raccoon dog was caught in Kirov.

      Already over the weekend residents of Kirov began noticing a raccoon dog wandering the streets. Volunteers of "Big Nest" urged Kirov residents to help in the search for the animal. On October 1 the dog was captured. Employees of a company on Proizvodstvennaya Street caught the animal and locked it in a dog kennel, then waited for the volunteers to arrive. As noted on the wild animal rehabilitation center's public page, the puppy is very emaciated. He appears to be about three months old, but he eats eagerly.
