To lure a worker in Kirov, you need to offer a salary one-third higher.
To lure a qualified worker to their company, an employer will have to offer a salary more than a third higher. This is the conclusion SuperJob analysts reached based on a survey of 3,000 representatives of skilled trades from different regions of the country.
The average raise for which workers are willing to move to an equivalent position at another organization was 36%. The most common answers were "more than 50%" (19% of respondents) and "35–50%" (18%). Only 8% said they would be willing to leave without an income increase.
Expectations depend on age. Workers under 35 demand on average a 34% increase, those aged 35–45 — 35%, and the highest demands are among specialists over 45 — 37%.
By profession, the largest increases are requested by assemblers (+42%), welders, electrical installers and mechanics (+40%). The lowest expectations are among CNC machine operators (+30%), excavator operators (+33%) and electrical fitters (+35%). At the same time, the highest share of those willing to leave with virtually no pay increase was found among lathe operators (20%), riggers (19%) and auto mechanics (17%).
Analysts note that high demands are characteristic of professions where median salaries have risen significantly over the year: for assemblers — by 28% in Moscow, and for electrical installers and mechanics — by 20%. Where growth was more modest (8–14% over the year), requested raises amount to 30–35%.
18% of parents of Kirov schoolchildren will take time off during the autumn holidays. High wages don't help: Kirov Oblast is experiencing a shortage of workers and industrial staff. One in three residents of Kirov believes that children should be born to married parents.
