      The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a criminal case had been opened in connection with the incident under Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, "Robbery." During the search, criminal investigators identified the suspect. He turned out to be a 44-year-old man from Kirov with a prior conviction. It emerged that he had spent the stolen money on personal expenses.
