A sewer main from the 1970s collapsed in Kirov.

      In the settlement of Korchemkino, specialists from the municipal water utility MUP "Vodokanal" uncovered a collapse of the sewer collector's vault. The damage was caused by corrosion that had accumulated over decades of operation. The company reported that, to restore the system's functionality, it has been decided to replace the damaged section with modern two-layer polypropylene pipes. This will ensure structural strength and extend the service life of the refurbished collector. At the same time, wastewater discharge continues in full, and the system operated without interruptions during the repairs. The Kirov administration added that the collector was originally built in the 1970s and performs an important function in diverting wastewater from the Novovyatsky District and the Raduzhny microdistrict.
