Kirovstat: the average salary in the region exceeded 65,000, but teachers and medical workers are still at the bottom of the list.

      In the Kirov region, for the first half of 2025 the average nominal accrued wage rose by 16.5% compared with the same period last year and amounted to 65,000 rubles. In real terms the increase was 5%, Kirovstat reports.

      The largest wage increases were recorded in culture, sports and leisure (+23%), healthcare and social services (+21%), and agriculture and forestry (+21%). The smallest increases were in public administration (+9%), mining and real estate activities (+10%).

      By the end of the half-year, 345,800 people were employed in the region's organizations. One in four was employed in manufacturing, where the average wage was 78,000 rubles. The highest wages in this sector were for workers in the production of fabricated metal products (98,000 rubles), computers and electronics (94,000 rubles), and chemical products (93,000 rubles).

      Wages in the social sector remain below the average:

      healthcare and social services — 57,500 rubles,

      culture and sports — 56,000 rubles,

      education — 54,800 rubles.

      The lowest wages — less than 47,000 rubles — were recorded in hospitality, food service, administrative activities and other services.

In Kirov Oblast, for January–June 2025, the average nominal accrued salary rose to 65,000 rubles, an increase of 16.5% over the previous year. Real growth (adjusted for inflation) was about 5%. At the same time, the gap between sectors remains noticeable: high earnings among workers in industry and chemical manufacturing, while education, culture and healthcare traditionally remain at the bottom.
