A missing pensioner in the forests of Yuryansky District was found with the help of a drone.

      On the morning of August 21 a resident of Yuryansky District went into the forest near the Lozhkari settlement to pick mushrooms and berries. After several hours she became disoriented and could not find her way home. The woman called 112 for help.

      Police officers set out to search for the pensioner. An unmanned aerial vehicle from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Kirov Region division was deployed to establish her whereabouts. By evening the drone was able to locate the woman, after which police made their way to her and escorted her home.

      The district resident expressed gratitude to the law enforcement officers for their promptness and attentiveness, noting their professionalism and friendliness.
