If signs of illnesses that impair safe driving are detected in a driver during a medical screening or examination, they will be required to undergo an unscheduled medical evaluation. One month is allotted for undergoing treatment and confirming recovery, after which the driver's license is returned to the motorist. If they fail to appear or refuse to undergo treatment, the driver's license will be annulled. It should be noted that currently drivers undergo a medical examination once every 10 years, or before obtaining a license for the first time.
