Volunteers are being sought in Kotel'nich to help homeless animals.
At the "Good Hands" temporary animal shelter in Kotel'nich there is an acute shortage of people willing to regularly help care for the animals. Right now a large number of dogs and cats live at the shelter, and the staff cannot cope with the volume of daily work.
The animals need their enclosures cleaned, bowls washed, water changed, paths swept, medication administered, and feeding. Many of the pets require attention and warmth—someone simply to sit with them, pet them, and spend a little time.
Volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis. They should come to the shelter on designated days and help regularly.
Staff acknowledge that many are having a hard time right now, so they are willing, where possible, to pay a small reward to those who take on part of the care. More details can be found here.
