More brewing malt is being imported into the Kirov region.

      According to Rosselkhoznadzor, significantly more brewing barley malt is being supplied to the Kirov region than before. On August 5, specialists inspected two batches of products from Belarus totaling nearly 130 tons. The malt passed phytosanitary control. Samples were tested in the laboratory, and experts found no quarantine objects. The product received permission for use. Rosselkhoznadzor added that since the beginning of 2025, the region has received over three thousand tons of malt. This is almost 1.7 times more than during the same period last year. The main supplies come from Belarus, as well as from the Oryol, Moscow, and Leningrad regions.
