      Since the beginning of the year, the inflation rate in the Kirov region has reached 4.4%. The most significant price increases were observed in food and paid services, while technology, on the whole, became slightly cheaper.

      Food products increased in price by an average of 0.5% over the month. The most noticeable hikes were in chilled and frozen chicken, with prices rising almost 6%. Salted and smoked fish, minced meat, chocolate, and cakes saw price jumps of 3-5%. Meanwhile, turkey became nearly 4% cheaper, and chicken eggs dropped by 24%.

      Prices for non-food goods decreased by an average of 0.2%. The slowdown is primarily due to cheaper electronics: laptops, televisions, headphones, and household electronics became 3-5% more affordable. Conversely, some items like household stoves, roofing material, and books increased in price.

      The fuel market also experienced changes. Gasoline grades AI-92 and AI-95 increased in price by up to 1.5%, while diesel fuel slightly decreased. The cost of gaseous motor fuel remained unchanged.

      Prices for services grew an average of 0.4%. The most notable increases were in domestic travel within Russia: vacations on the Black Sea coast became almost 9% more expensive, hostels by 3.5%, and intercity buses by 2.2%. Trips to Asia and the South Caucasus rose by up to 10.6%. Conversely, vacations in Egypt, the UAE, and Belarus became cheaper.

      Ticket prices for cinemas, taxi services, housing rentals, and some household services also increased. For example, prices for men's haircuts and celebration organization rose by 3.5%.
