      During the meeting, Vyacheslav Simakov, head of the administration, emphasized the importance of cooperation with companies renting out scooters. He proposed taking into account data on areas with the highest traffic to identify sections where parking should be installed or, conversely, where restrictions should be introduced. The possibility of joint efforts to develop infrastructure was also discussed. Representatives of the rental company expressed their willingness to participate in developing new solutions. Among the measures already implemented, the restriction of movement on Grenn Embankment was mentioned. The idea of lowering the maximum speed of scooters in parks, squares, and other public places where pedestrian safety is particularly important was discussed. Participants also raised the issue of limiting scooter rentals for minors. Territorial departments and the Department of Urban Economy are preparing proposals for zones where restrictions should be introduced, including narrow sidewalks and areas where accidents have previously occurred.
