      The "Gosuslugi Dom" mobile application has introduced a new feature for residents of multi-apartment buildings. Now, in case of an emergency, they can call the emergency dispatch service (EDS) using the official phone number registered by their management company in the GIS Housing and Utilities system.

      — In the event of an emergency in a multi-apartment building, every minute counts: the sooner the management company learns from residents about the situation, the fewer resources are needed to resolve it. According to the Russian Government decree, each management company must have a 24/7 EDS. The "Gosuslugi Dom" app consolidates all housing and utilities issues into a single interface, providing residents with quick access to the emergency service phone number, – explained the Ministry of Construction of Russia.

      The State Housing Inspection of the Kirov Region clarifies that to contact the dispatcher, users need to go to the main screen of the app and press the "Emergency" button. The app will indicate in which cases it is necessary to contact the EDS, such as a burst pipe, power outage, or detecting a gas smell. The current phone number will appear at the bottom of the screen with a call button. If this number is not available, users can submit a request to their management company. It is important to verify the presence of the emergency number in the app in advance.

      Future updates will include access to the EDS numbers of utility providers. Additionally, management companies will be able to specify different phone numbers in the app for various situations—for example, a separate number for elevator maintenance.

      The app is available for download on RuStore, AppStore, Google Play, and AppGallery. Users can log in using a verified account on the Gosuslugi portal. Information about real estate, metering devices, and bills is uploaded automatically.

      More than 68,700 residents of the Kirov Region are already using the "Gosuslugi Dom" app.
