369 thousand cubic meters of timber materials were exported from the Kirov region.
According to the department, recently the Rosselkhoznadzor Directorate for the Kirov Region conducted quarantine phytosanitary control on 320 cubic meters of softwood lumber prepared for shipment by road from Kirov to the Kursk, Moscow, and Kostroma regions.
"Samples of the lumber taken during the inspection were sent for examination. The results of laboratory tests did not reveal any quarantine harmful organisms, and all products complied with quarantine phytosanitary requirements. Six quarantine certificates were issued for the lumber," reported the department.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the current year, the department has supervised the shipment of 369,000 cubic meters of softwood timber to other regions of Russia.
