
A third of Kirov residents collect money.
Experts from the SuperJob portal conducted a survey from May 13 to July 2 among the economically active population of Kirov and found that 31% of Kirov residents consider themselves collectors. Men among those interested in collecting were more numerous than women.
People under 35 are more interested in collecting than those over 35. Among collectors, there are more individuals earning from 100,000 rubles per month than those with lower incomes.
The leading hobby remains numismatics: 3 out of 10 respondents collect coins and banknotes. Figurines/statues are collected by 9%, books and toys by 6% each. 5% of respondents identified as philatelists. 4% collect tableware, postcards, and calendars, 3% collect music discs, and perfume and cosmetics are collected by 2%.
Additionally, some Kirov residents noted they collect antiques, bells, plants, weapons, magnets, stones, and watches.
According to experts, every third man and every fourth woman surveyed have a collection of banknotes and/or coins. Women more often collect figurines and books, while men prefer toys and stamps.
