In Kirov, a 16-year-old teenager was sentenced for attempted drug trafficking.

The investigation established that the minor conspired with unidentified individuals via the internet. In exchange for monetary compensation, he agreed to distribute drugs using so-called "stash spots." He was provided with information about the location of a wholesale batch of prohibited substances, and he was to place packages at specified addresses, photograph them, and transmit the coordinates to the organizers.

In January 2025, the defendant set up a stash in the Oktyabrsky district of Kirov. However, he was unable to complete his plan—police seized the drugs during inspection activities.

Also, on January 16 of the same year, the minor purchased a narcotic substance online for personal use. After receiving the coordinates of another stash, he headed to the specified location, where he was detained by police officers. During a search of the area, a package containing 2.85 grams of narcotics was seized.

The investigation collected comprehensive evidence confirming the minor's guilt. The court found him guilty of attempted drug trafficking (Part 3, Article 30, Paragraph "a" of Part 3, Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and of purchasing drugs without intent to sell (Part 3, Part 2, Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The sentence assigned was 3.5 years of probation with an identical probation period.
