Every third teenager in Kirov plans to work part-time in the summer

      SuperJob, a high-paying job search service, conducted a survey among parents of Kirov schoolchildren aged 14 to 17. The study showed that 27% of teenagers plan to get a summer part-time job.

      Among the most popular areas of seasonal employment are working as a sales consultant or cashier, a courier, an assistant counselor, a cafe employee and a greengrocer. Teenagers are also showing interest in working as promoters, waiters, and hotel administrators.

      According to the survey, 10% of teenagers already had part-time work experience during the school year. Most often they worked in catering establishments, trade, delivery, and also participated in promotions or worked as animators. In some cases, teenagers worked as handymen and waiters.

      According to parents, in 38% of cases, children find work on their own. Another quarter of teenagers are helped by their parents, and in 18% of cases by friends.

      The survey showed that teenagers strive not only to earn their own money, but also to gain their first experience in a real work environment.
