Kirov resident paid a fine for stealing an expensive mobile phone
The prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of Kirov supported the state prosecution in the criminal case against the 41-year-old Kirvochanin. The man was found guilty of committing a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code (theft).
It was established that the theft of an expensive mobile phone worth 100 thousand rubles was committed on the evening of February 24 this year in a grocery store located on Nekrasova St. in the city of Kirov.
The man, pursuing a selfish goal, secretly stole a mobile phone left by the victim on a table for storing goods.
After reviewing the case, the court agreed with the opinion of the public prosecutor and, taking into account the severity and public danger of the crime, personal information, and other mitigating circumstances, sentenced the man to a fine of 15,000 rubles.
The stolen property was returned to the owner.
