In Kirov, an 88-year-old woman was left without an entrance door after a fire: it was broken down by mistake.

In Kirov, 88-year-old Zoya Savelyevna, who went through the Great Patriotic War as a child, is now going through hard times. After the fire in her house, the woman was left virtually without an entrance door: it only holds on one hinge, creaks, sagges and may fall at any moment. Because of the huge gap in place of the lock, you can put your hand into the apartment.

The incident occurred on May 3. Early in the morning, the pensioner woke up to a loud noise. When she came to the door, she saw an axe in it — according to her, she was very scared. It wasn't until she looked out the window that she realized that firefighters were working in the courtyard.

As it turned out, during the extinguishing of the fire, the rescuers confused the floor: according to the documents, the apartment was listed on the second floor, although in fact it was located on a higher level. It was because of this confusion that Zoya Savelyevna's door was broken down.

Now the woman can't leave the house, and she doesn't have the money to install a new door. The residents of the entrance are worried about the elderly neighbor — they turned to the Popular Front for help.

"We believe that by Victory Day, a woman deserves to have a new door installed for her. Moreover, she became a victim of circumstances. We have contacted representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. We hope that the door will be put in order in the near future," said Valeria Cheremisinova, head of the regional branch of the Popular Front.

The Popular Front promised to keep the situation under control.
