In Kirov, a drunk driver tried to bribe a traffic police officer

      On the night of May 1-2, police stopped a Chevrolet Cruze car near one of the houses on Shchors Street, driven by a drunk 45-year-old man. Traffic police officers began to compile material on an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 12.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for driving a vehicle while intoxicated.

      However, the man tried to avoid responsibility: he handed over to the police officer a bribe in the amount of 30 thousand rubles for the loss of the protocol on an administrative offense and other documents. The policeman refused the money offered and reported the attempted bribery to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

      A criminal case was opened against a 45-year-old resident of the Svechinsky district. He is suspected of committing a crime under Part 3 of art. 30, part 3 of art. 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted bribery). At the moment, all the circumstances of the crime are being established.
