AvtoVAZ recalls thousands of Vesta and Largus cars
The Russian automaker AvtoVAZ is recalling 47,139 Lada cars, according to Rosstandart. 22,731 Lada Vesta vehicles and 24,408 Lada Largus vehicles that were sold between October 2021 and August 2023 are subject to recall.
Rosstandart called the reason for the recall of the car the absence of a control unit for calling emergency and operational services. A planned installation of the emergency and operational services call control unit will be carried out on all recalled cars. For car owners, all work will be done free of charge.
The owners of cars subject to recall will be informed by authorized representatives of AvtoVAZ JSC by sending letters and/or by phone. The car owner will need to provide the car to the nearest dealership for repair work.
Owners of recalled cars can also check on their own, without waiting for a message, whether their car falls under this recall campaign. To do this, you can use the Rosstandart service by entering your car's VIN code in the search bar.
