There was a fire on Chernyshevsky Street

      Late at night, at 02:26, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a fire in a multi-storey apartment building on Chernyshevsky St.: a room was on fire, and heavy smoke occurred in the entrance and common corridor. 18 employees and 7 pieces of equipment of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene.

      A child and a man were rescued from the windows of the 2nd and 3rd floors, several people were evacuated through the entrance with the help of rescue masks. There were no casualties, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kirov region clarified. The fire was extinguished on an area of 12 sq.m. The circumstances of the fire are being determined by an investigator from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Presumably, the fire could have occurred due to a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
