Kirov schoolboy became the absolute winner of the National Technological Olympiad

      Egor Bogatov, a schoolboy from the Kirov region, became the absolute winner of the final of the National Technological Olympiad (NTO). He showed the best result in the profile "Automation of business processes".

      NTO is a large—scale engineering competition for schoolchildren and students, organized under the coordination of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the presidential platform "Russia is a country of Opportunities" within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children". The final stages of the Olympiad took place over two months at venues in 11 regions of the country. About 2 thousand students of grades 8-11 from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan took part in them.

      According to the organizers, this year the number of applications for participation has exceeded 220 thousand, which is 50% more than last year. The participants worked in teams and solved practical tasks from various fields, from virtual reality to urban studies. The winners and prize-winners of the NTO receive benefits upon admission to universities and can complete internships in leading Russian companies.

      The Olympiad is being held for the tenth time and has brought together more than 880,000 young participants from all over the country. The project is supported by leading universities, relevant organizations and the business community.
