Kirov residents began to take out loans less often

      According to the United Credit Bureau, in March, residents of the Kirov region issued 20.82 thousand loans totaling 4.4 billion rubles. This is noticeably less than in February, when Kirov residents took out 23.54 thousand loans worth 4.65 billion rubles.

      Statistics show a significant reduction in lending activity in the region: the number of loans granted decreased by 12%, and their total volume decreased by 6% compared to the previous month. A similar downward trend is observed in Russia as a whole.

      The Kirov Region ranks 45th among Russian regions in terms of lending volume. The leaders of the rating remain Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg, where the volume of loans issued in March amounted to 75.9, 52.4 and 35.46 billion rubles, respectively.

      Nationwide statistics show that mortgage loans (33%), cash loans (32%) and credit cards (21%) account for the largest share in the lending structure. At the same time, in the first quarter, the number of loans issued decreased by 50% compared to the same period last year.
