Kirov residents began to conflict with their superiors more often
The vast majority of workers in the Kirov region (57%) reported no conflicts in the workplace. However, among those who face disagreements, the majority of conflicts are related to relationships with management (23%) and colleagues (20%).
Specialists in the field of medicine and pharmacy turned out to be the most conflicted – 39% of them are in conflict with their superiors. In the areas of procurement and human resources management, 28% of employees have disagreements with colleagues. For comparison, in 2021, the level of conflict was lower – 19% with both superiors and colleagues.
The main reason for the disagreement was professional differences (60%). This is especially true for middle and senior managers (80%) and IT specialists (84%). Personal antipathies caused conflicts in 40% of cases, and emotional factors in 23%. Every tenth employee faces domestic conflicts due to working conditions.
Gossip remains the most common problem (33%). There are also arrogant attitudes towards newcomers (21%), intrigues (18%) and insults (14%). In professional fields, lawyers (50%) and procurement specialists (43%) became the leaders in gossip. Arrogant attitude is more often manifested in education (42%) and procurement (40%).
It is noteworthy that the situation with gossip in teams has improved in recent years – if in 2021 it bothered 60% of employees, now this figure has decreased to 33%. This may indicate an increase in the culture of communication in the working groups of the region.
