Kirov judoists will be included in the Russian national team
The Russian Under-18 Judo Championship (Sport LIN), which was attended by 225 athletes from 19 regions of Russia, has come to an end in Tambov. The Lkirovskaya region was represented at these competitions by athletes from Kirov, Vyatka Polyana, Kotelnich and Sovetsk.
Kirov residents brought 22 medals from the competitions held in Tambov. The national team of the Kirov region has two gold medals in the piggy bank (Abram Zhukov and Anton Syuzaev). Kirov athletes won five gold, seven silver and eight bronze medals in the Russian championship.
According to the Ministry of Sports of the region, Kirov judoka became the winners in the unofficial team competition of the Russian championship: 101.5 points. In second place is the team from the Vladimir region (79 points), in third place is the team from the Sverdlovsk region (43 points).
The Ministry of Sports of the Kirov region noted that following the results of the last competitions, 14 athletes from our region will be included in the main and reserve squads of the Russian national team for 2026.
