The governor discussed the issues of residents with the heads of districts
Governor Alexander Sokolov held a meeting with the heads of districts and districts of the Kirov region. The main topic of discussion was questions received from residents of the region during a recent live line on social networks. In total, more than 500 questions were asked. Residents of Kirov showed the greatest activity, Slobodskaya was in second place in terms of the number of appeals, and Kirovo—Chepetsk was in third.
The most frequent topic of appeals was the quality of roads. Residents were also concerned about education, housing and communal services, and public transport. In particular, residents of Novovyatsk reported inconveniences that arose after the construction of the tunnel began.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to landscaping issues. For example, an appeal was received regarding the improvement of the square in the Comintern. The Kirov administration promised to help residents prepare an application for participation in a project to support local initiatives in order to resolve this issue.
Sokolov outlined other important tasks for municipalities. One of the main tasks is to ensure fire safety. In the spring, many people start burning dry grass, making bonfires and using barbecues without following the rules. The Governor pointed out the need for preventive maintenance and monitoring of compliance with safety requirements.
The head of the region also set a task: answers to all questions asked during the direct line should be provided to residents before the start of the May holidays. The relevant ministers will report on Monday at the meeting.
