It became known how office staff communicate in Kirov

      SuperJob analysts have found out which ways of communication at work are most convenient for Kirov office workers. The survey showed that young professionals are more likely to choose messengers, while representatives of the older generation prefer face-to-face meetings.

      According to the study, messengers remain the most popular way of interacting — 47% of respondents use them. Emails are in second place (37%), and face—to-face meetings are in third place (30%). Also, 29% of respondents prefer to solve work issues by phone, 13% — via task trackers and online boards, and 9% — via video.

      The choice of communication method largely depends on age. Among young employees under the age of 25, 77% of respondents prefer instant messengers. However, with age, the popularity of this method decreases: among 25-35-year-olds, this figure is 54%, among 35-45—year-olds - 33%, and among those over 45 - only 20%. At the same time, senior employees (aged 35 to 45) are more likely to choose email (47%), and people over 45 are more likely to choose face—to-face meetings (53%).

      Differences are also noticeable between men and women. Men are more likely to choose face-to-face meetings and phone calls, while women prefer messengers, task trackers and video calls. In addition, the study showed that the higher the respondents' income, the more often they communicate in person or by phone, less often using written communication methods.
