Sokolov ordered to develop a program for the tourist development of the Nolinsky district

      Governor Alexander Sokolov instructed to develop a tourism development program for the Nolinsky district, calling it a potentially attractive destination for tourists. He stressed that Nolinsk, included in the route "Gates of the Russian North", has unique museums and historical buildings.

      The governor proposed to create a landscaped square in the city center, for which it is necessary to develop a project that can be announced as part of a program to support local initiatives. He added that thanks to the "Road Billion" program, roads were repaired in the city, and a new polyclinic was opened under the national health project. The governor instructed to organize the reception of children in a new medical facility. The construction of a 500-bed school with a modern sports and recreation complex, implemented as part of the national project "Education", will continue after the termination of the contract with the previous developer. Sokolov suggested giving priority to Kirov contractors when choosing a new contractor.

      In addition to the development of traditional tourism, the terrain allows for the development of alpine skiing. The governor noted the possibility of creating a track for children, which will make the city attractive not only for tourists, but also for athletes. Sokolov also instructed to develop a design code for the city to put the facades of buildings in order.

      Concluding the meeting, Alexander Sokolov noted the patriotism of the residents of Nolinsk. He added that he had met with mothers and wives of military personnel and discussed support measures with them.
